Holt Unveils Emergency Rescue Vehicle
LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Republican U.S. Senate Candidate frontrunner Jim Holt, a former Arkansas State Senator, announced today his latest technique deliberately aimed at capturing the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Democrat Blanche Lincoln. Senator Holt, speaking to media in front of the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock today, presented a very unique symbol that he has dubbed, “America’s Ambulance.” Holt introduced the Ford F450 ambulance that several Holt volunteers have modified to read “ObamaCare Repeal Unit” in bold print on the face along with phrases like “Stop The Barackracy” and “The Cure for Obama’s Hope & Change.” In addition, America’s Ambulance touts a caricature of President Obama with a [Socialist] Russian hammer & sickle insignia affixed to his lapel while the other side displays a cartoon sketch of Sen. Lincoln posing alongside Sen. Harry Reid & Rep. Nancy Pelosi next to the words “Revive America: Vote Jim Holt for U.S. Senate.” Holt stated he is presenting this “ground-breaking symbol of expression for all Americans threatened by recent harmful policies from the Washington Establishment, like ObamaCare and government bailouts.” Holt also referenced that Obama, Pelosi & Reid are able to carry out their destructive agenda because of support from Senators like Blanche Lincoln. Holt said, “Arkansans keep telling me they are fed up with political rhetoric and lies and they are ready to take action.” The emergency-themed policy ambulance is one of their latest expositions.
The 2004 Ford F450 ambulance belongs to car dealership Champion Motorcars owned by Josh Duggar, of TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting. Duggar, a longtime Holt friend and supporter, commented that he first had the idea of the “political ambulance” following the passage of the National Healthcare Reform Bill. “We saw the need for a vivid representation of our feelings, that linked the damaging effects of this legislation to the welfare of the nation.” Duggar continued, “Voters must see how vital it is that we elect a proven conservative to fight for us in Washington.” After acquiring the vehicle from a local emergency transport service, campaign volunteers modified it to become an audacious expression of conservative discourse. Holt stated, “I am confident that Americans will embrace this visual representation as they have already connected with the message so distinctly portrayed through it.”
Senator Holt also spoke about the heightened priorities of his campaign and reiterated the fact that so many are outraged by the traumatic ramifications set forth in “ObamaCare” and the multi-trillion dollar Government Bailouts. Holt stated, “The recent attacks against our liberty represent the Socialist ideology that clouds the minds of Washington politicians.” Holt stated that he would vote for the immediate repeal of ObamaCare and its counterparts. “This is such a critical time in our nation,” Holt continued, “now more than ever we need to hold our Washington leaders accountable for the extreme decisions they have made in the wrong direction for our country. That accountability starts right now in this election!” He added, “We cannot afford six more years of misrepresentation. We must act now and send a conservative we trust if we hope to change Washington.” Holt accentuated that conservatives must win this essential U.S. Senate seat in November by pointing out the slight margin of votes by which many of these erratic measures were enacted. He added that many of his supporters tout his impeccable record and integrity, making him the only Tested, Proven and Dependable candidate for this job.
Holt, a nine-year military veteran and former State Representative & State Senator from Northwest Arkansas, is best known for standing up for what he believes in. Senator Holt was the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in 2004, where he was grossly outspent (44.5 to 1) and polling way behind, but the election resulted in a near upset for the then highly favored one term incumbent Sen. Lincoln. After that near victory Holt was compelled to make yet another bold stand, and in 2006 entered the race for Lieutenant Governor against challenger Bill Halter. Outspent 17. 5 to 1 Holt took away 43% of the vote and engaged one of the largest grassroots networks in state history. Holt is highly acclaimed for his staunch conservative stance, casting critical votes like cutting government spending or fighting against special benefits to illegal aliens – issues that matter most to all Americans. In 2007, Holt turned his focus homeward to build a small business, which he states provided great motivation for his 2010 U.S. Senate campaign, “Being a small business owner, I understand the rigorous demands that have been involuntarily placed on Americans today by career politicians and Washington bureaucrats that have never run a small business or paid a payroll.” The activist symbol released today distinctly differentiates Holt from other candidates in the race. Holt concluded, “The illustration in America’s Ambulance harnesses the momentum we need to drive us through to victory in November. Then we head for the ER — Economic Recovery.”
